Custom Orthotics

Custom Orthotics are great for people who are often on their feet. FTG Physical Therapy knows how complex the body can be and it is important to prevent mechanical breakdown caused by common activities such as simply standing or running. Custom Orthotics are great for a variety of people such as:

• Nurses
• Runners
• People who experience foot pain
• People who experience plantar fasciitis
• People who are on their feet majority of the day

 

During your appointment, your therapist will assess your mechanical system using a state-of-the-art biomechanical movement evaluation. This analysis will allow your therapist to prescribe stretches, exercises, and insoles or custom orthotics if needed. Custom orthotics are directly molded to your feet and alterations will be made to maximize pain relief and performance as your wear them.

FTG Physical Therapy believes that it is important for you to remain feeling at your best at all times. Therefore, we provide complimentary custom orthotic check-ups every year to ensure that your needs continue to be met. The screening only takes about 15 minutes, and during that time, we will also check in with you on your exercise routine and we can progress your intensity level to fit your specific goals.
